In Case You Missed It...

Monday: Picking Up the Crippled Man

Being the Church. Are we stretching out our hand to pick up the crippled man, are we kicking him in the teeth, or do we even notice that he's there?

Is there a remote possibility that we could care more about people than we do right now? If there is, then why aren't we doing it?

This post is about the god harmonica and, as deep-thinker Tony M says, "He you meet of at good."

Surprisingly, this post is about music in the modern Church. Contemporary or traditional, our participation in and enjoyment of (I should probably say that in a churchy way: "edification through") corporate worship through song brings a plethora of real-life challenges.

The writer of Hebrews would likely be fired from his position were he a pastor at a church fellowship in today's world. Do we feign spiritual maturity and actually fit what he says? "You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food." (Hebrews 5:12, NLT)

Saturday: Living
If God guaranteed you that you would live through the rest of the day today, what is it that He would want you to do?
