I've been building a deck with my dad, father-in-law, and friend Josh. No, not a deck like the one in the photo. This one attaches to the house. This is the reason for a missed post Saturday and this morning.
I'm trying to analyze everything we did to see if there's some great spiritual parallel that I can use. Maybe something about the fact that it's kinda cool that a set of the oldest things in creation -- air and water -- can tell us without a doubt if something's level. Amazing that, although there's a ton of new technology, that tried-and-true method is still used every day in construction.
If you have any great tips on cool or unusual stuff to do with a deck (ours isn't huge -- 16' x 16'), feel free to leave a comment. I'm thinking about making one side of it into a counter-top sort of area with bar stools.
Have Bible study group bright and early tomorrow (6AM at Starbucks), so tomorrow's post will likely come later in the morning.

Results were essentially the same as the previous one. Wow!
Manga, anyone?

To you other readers out there, I did something quite similar and Dean is aware of it. I suppose that makes me a 'duh' me also. Wahhh, ha, ha, ha!!
